Stewed pig ear (at the top) is under the heading "Tasty Snacks" on the menu. And it is indeed tasty, stewed with Chinese seasonings, shiny, gristly and chewy.
Another "Tasty Snack" is red grain pork, possibly Monja's most famous dish (above). It's not barbecued pork but coated with distinctive seasonings that are said to be medicinal. Good for you or not, it's delicious, and you won't find it anywhere else except at the original Monja in City of Industry. Read more about that Monja and the pork here. And here's an article from LA Weekly about Monja in Rosemead.
Chicken roll is also a Tasty Snack. Stick to that category and you'll have an excellent Taiwanese meal, as if you were in a night market in Taipei. But you might want to try at least one thing from the noodle soup category, and that is tomato sauce beef noodle soup, Wang's slightly spicy and slightly sweet version of one of Taiwan's most typical dishes. Above is an individual serving from the communal bowl.
